Scroll down to the bottom of the list of icons you can turn on or off, and click the button to disable Action Center. On the right, click the “Turn system icons on or off” link. In the System window, click the “Notifications & actions” category on the left. You can also open the Start menu and click “Settings” to get to this window. Press Windows+I to bring up the Settings app and then click System. You can disable the Action Center with a single toggle in Windows 10, but that toggle is a bit buried in the interface. Action Center is handy for seeing all recent notifications you may have missed, as they’ll just wait there in Action Center until you view them.
